Hi there! I'm Vess.

As Executive Director of the University of Cambridge Psychometrics Centre, I look after all strategic and operational aspects of our activities, in particular our commercial partnerships. The projects I manage are quite diverse, including executive programmes, consultancy activities, software development and product licensing. Generally, my job is to identify areas where our psychometric research and techniques (for example, item response theory and computer-adaptive testing) can deliver the greatest impact and provide a bridge between business and academia.

I read law at Trinity College and my interests include generative artificial intelligence, intellectual property, privacy and data protection, digital marketing and entrepreneurship. Outside of work, I enjoy watching movies and playing guitar.
